Fallout 4 In VR With Vorpx
Some Fallout 4 gameplay in VR with ImmersiveGamer83
Fallout 4 is a title that we have seen appearing in almost every facet of the real and online world over the past few months and the super talked about title from Bethesda has already broken a few records. Knocking GTA 5 off of the top spot for Most Concurrent Players on Steam and selling a whopping 300,000 copies to players on Valve’s PC platform. Naturally, as you can imagine, people in the VR scene were keen to get their hands on this title. A recent upload from ImmersiveGamer83, a VR Youtuber that we have been a fan of for a while, gives us a short glimpse at Fallout 4 in VR.
In his most recent upload ImmersiveGamer83 offers us a VR gameplay vid of Fallout 4 that he runs through in a roleplay style. The gameplay is made possible using Vorpx, the 3D driver that allows you to play games that weren’t built for VR in a VR HMD. A recent blog post from the Vorpx developer announced the release of “preliminary support for Fallout 4” along with their most recent bug fixes and changes. If you already own Vorpx then this will be done automatically, if not then you can find out more about it here.
If you’re already set up with Vorpx and are part of the statistics mentioned about Fallout 4‘s records above, then you may also want to check out the other useful video from IG83 listed below. In the video he details his preferred settings for optimizing the experience of Fallout 4 in VR, along with some of his first impressions.
