We are excited to announce that VR Related will be hosting a continuous 40-hour live stream to raise money for the blind.
The event is the brainchild of Jomas Benfell, who took it upon himself to set the wheels in motion. Virtual reality is an exciting and rapidly evolving technology with countless applications—many already discovered, and many more still to come.
But as we know, everyone experiences the world differently, with their own unique challenges. When Jomas approached us with the idea of organising a charity stream to raise funds for those unable to experience VR, we were fully on board.

- Start Date: 5th August 2016

A Community Effort
Jomas has already generated strong interest from developers and companies across the VR industry.
“Over the past three months, I’ve been working on a charity stream. I wanted to raise $50,000 for the Blind Foundation. But there’s much more to it—I wanted to do it on a $0 budget, with only the support of companies and friends.” — Jomas Benfell
What to Expect
The stream will feature a wide range of VR content, community interactions, and industry collaborations. Full details on the schedule and featured participants will be released soon.
Stay tuned—and please consider supporting this fantastic cause. Together, we can help bring more awareness and opportunities to those who are currently unable to experience the immersive world of VR.
